The exact number of vacancies will be announced by individual schools through their respective advertisements. Positions are available for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Primary Teachers (PRT) across various subjects.

AWES Recruitment 2024 Salary Details

Salaries will be as per the Army Public School norms and will vary based on the teacher’s position and school. Both Regular and Fixed-Term appointments are available.

AWES Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• PGT: Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.

• TGT: Graduation in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree.

• PRT: Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. or B.Ed.

Age Limit:

• Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years

• Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years (with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience)​

AWES Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Stage 1: Online Screening Test (OST): The OST will be a computer-based test conducted for PGT, TGT, and PRT positions. The test will have 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, with a negative marking of 1/4 marks for wrong answers. Subjects: PGT (specific subjects), TGT (general subjects), PRT (Primary level education).

• Stage 2: Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the OST will be called for interviews by respective schools.

• Stage 3: Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: Language teachers will undergo an additional test for essay writing and comprehension​
