Postal Jobs 2024 Salary Details
The SCALE OF PAY for Skilled Artisans is set between Rs. 19,900/- and Rs. 63,200/-, corresponding to Level 2 in the pay matrix according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) guidelines. In addition to this base salary, eligible candidates will receive any applicable allowances as per the prevailing rules and regulations.

Postal Jobs 2024 Eligibility Criteria
a) Age Limit for Direct Recruits:
- General (UR) & EWS: 18 to 30 years as of 01.07.2024.
- SC/ST: The age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
- OBC: The age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
- Central Government Servants: Up to 40 years of age, per Central Government instructions or orders.
- Ex-Servicemen: The age limit is relaxed by up to 3 years (8 years for SC/ST and 6 years for OBC) after the military service period is deducted from the actual age.
b) Educational & Other Qualifications for Direct Recruits:
- Technical Certificate: A certificate in the relevant trade from a Government-recognized technical institution is required. Alternatively, candidates with an 8th-grade education must have one year of experience in the respective trade (an experience certificate is mandatory for such candidates).
- Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trade: Candidates must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license to test vehicles in service.

Postal Jobs 2024 Selection Process
Skilled Artisans will be selected through a Competitive Trade Test, based on the syllabus specific to the trade. Candidates who meet the required qualifications will be assessed according to this syllabus. Details regarding the syllabus, test date, venue, and duration will be provided to eligible candidates along with their Hall Permits.
