Railway SER Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced the notification for the recruitment of Group-D and Group-C posts through the Sports Quota Recruitment 2024. SER invites offline applications from eligible and meritorious sportspersons for 49 positions. Interested candidates can send their duly filled application forms between 20 July and 19 August 2024.

Railway SER Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The age limit for the Indian Railways SER Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 is 18-25 years, with the crucial date for age calculation being 1 January 2025. There is no age relaxation for SC, ST, or OBC candidates.
- Educational Qualification: The educational qualification required for Group-D (Level-I) posts is a 10th Class/Matric pass. For Level-2 and Level-3 posts, the required qualification is a 12th pass.
Refer to the SER Sports Quota 2024 notification for detailed information about the qualifications. In addition to the specified educational qualifications, candidates must be meritorious sportspersons.
Railway SER Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Selection will be determined by performance in sports trials, followed by verification of sports and educational certificates. This process will be conducted by a properly constituted recruitment committee of this railway. Eligible candidates will be informed of the venue and date for trials and certificate verification in due course.

- Step 1: Visit the official website of the RRC SER at ser.indianrailways.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on the recruitment tab.
- Step 3: Download the SER Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 notification and application form.
- Step 4: Duly fill out the form and attach the required documents along with the application fee in the form of an IPO or Bank Draft.
- Step 5: On the envelope containing the application form, write “Application against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) recruitment for the year 2024-25″ Level-1 or Level-2/3.
- Step 6: Send the duly filled application form to the following address: The Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, New Administrative Building, 6th Floor, Garden Reach, Kolkata- 700043.
